Over the past thirty years, Brower & Associates has done over one hundred fifty religious projects, mostly for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The projects include a temple expansion, stake centers, ward houses, tabernacles, remodeling and additions.
Brower & Associates is working closely with Daniel Cook and Associates (DCA) of Ogden, Utah, on religious facilities throughout the country. The cost of the DCA buildings are averaging thirty percent less than traditional construction methods, saving the church members precious funds.
Working with Niels Valentiner, an architect in Salt Lake City, Brower & Associates did a non-denominational chapel at Hill Air Force Base, Ogden, Utah. A chapel, school and summer camp was done for a Christian congregation in Ferron, Utah.
The most recent church project is the addition to the Monticello Temple. Located in Monticello, in the southeast corner of Utah, the temple was built only four years ago but was too small from the day it opened. Using the same design details as the original building, additions were constructed on three sides of the small temple, doubling its capacity. Since the addition design fits so well with the original building, a visitor will not be able to determine the newly expanded areas.
Projects for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints include several new stake centers and ward building, additions and remodelings. The tabernacles in American Fork, Provo and Richfield were remodeled, as well as the youth centers in Moroni and Richfield. The new store for Deseret Industries in Provo, Utah, is a recent project.
